This project was implemented in the regions of Kayes, Sikasso and the District of Bamako.
Its aim was to help improve the skills of young women in order to boost their employability..
A total of 450 girls/women aged between 18 and 24 have been trained in the installation and maintenance of solar panels. Of these, 180 have taken part in incubation sessions at YES Inc. and advanced training courses in companies working in the renewable energy sector., 6 girls have opened their own businesses, while the others earn their bread and butter by working as breakdown mechanics.
NORAD through FAWE Regional is the donor. These activities were carried out from January 2019 to July 2021.
